Our Vision
The vision of Fifth Church is to be an
attractive and inviting community that brings people who are
presently on the outside into life-changing relationships
with Jesus and His followers. We are doing this by updating
our current facilities and launching a new congregation.

JHAF Winter Blast
Junior High students are going on a Winter Blast to Grace
Adventures in February--an action packed weekend retreat
focusing on God's consistency in a changing culture.
Students will enjoy awesome activities like broomball,
horseback riding, indoor rock climbing, high intensity music
and worship, and a time to experience God in new ways! If
you have questions please contact Mary Lemmen.
Senior Program: One Man’s Retirement Dedication
Join us on Tuesday, January 26 at 2:00 pm to hear
One Man’s Retirement Dedication.
Gordon
Teska has chosen to help abused kids (mostly teenaged boys)
who have been abused and neglected, and have become wards of
the Family Court. His hope is that they will grow up to lead
productive and happy lives. Note this date on your 2010
calendar, and invite someone who would enjoy hearing
Gordon's heart-warming and upbeat presentation. A time for
fellowship and refreshments will follow the program. |

Opportunities to Serve
Knitted/Crocheted Items
Enjoy knitting or crocheting? Mittens, hats and scarves will
be donated to children from impoverished homes who attend
Mulick park School. If you don't knit or crochet, items
purchased from a store are greatly appreciated. If you need
materials, or would like to learn how to knit/crochet contact
Lori Kane.
Valladolid Mission Trip
Once again we are sending a group of individuals to Valladolid
Mexico where we will be serving the Mayan people. As in the
past, we are asking for donations of: tiny toys (i.e.
McDonalds, Burger King, etc.), 4x8 inch sewn medicine bags
with a draw string, as well as tooth brush and tooth paste
supplies. All of this, even though small to us, will go a long
way to help us serve the needs of the indigenous people of the
Yucatan.
Items may be dropped off in the church office.
Use Your Gifts!
Contact the church office or Bruce Mulder for additional opportunities to serve.
