Ministries: Seniors

Mature members of the body of Christ at Fifth Church remain active participants in the kingdom of God through a variety of activities that include Biblical study, community service, recreational adventures and fellowship.

Monthly Meetings
Each month, September through May, you are invited to gather at Fifth Church to enjoy a program that is entertaining, informative, educational and/or inspirational. When? From September through May, the fourth Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments. (December meetings are on the second Tuesday, and the February meeting starts at noon with a winter picnic preceding the program). Contact: Jack Cooper

Bus Adventures
Three or four times a year you are invited to board our church bus and head out for the better part of the day for a fall color tour, to visit unique places of special interest, to learn about Christian camps or other ministries, or to enjoy theater presentations at Hope College. In addition to the fellowship, scenery and entertaining aspects, there is always a delicious lunch scheduled. Contact: Jack Cooper

Bible Study
Your invited to share in two six week studies focusing on Biblical characters, specific books or scripture passages. These adventures into God's word are intended to deepen our understanding of how God speaks to us, and to encourage continued spiritual growth. When? Six-week sessions each fall and spring. Contact: Jack Cooper
