Mature members of the body of Christ at Fifth Church remain active participants in the kingdom of God through a variety of activities that include Biblical study, community service, recreational adventures and fellowship.
Monthly Meetings
Each month, September through May, you are invited to gather at
Fifth Church to enjoy a program that is entertaining,
informative, educational and/or inspirational. When?
From September through May, the fourth Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall,
followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments. (December
meetings are on the second Tuesday, and the February meeting
starts at noon with a winter picnic preceding the program). Contact: Jack Cooper
Bus Adventures
Three or four times a year you are invited to board our church
bus and head out for the better part of the day for a fall color
tour, to visit unique places of special interest, to learn about
Christian camps or other ministries, or to enjoy theater
presentations at Hope College. In addition to the fellowship,
scenery and entertaining aspects, there is always a delicious

Bible Study
Your invited to share in two six week studies focusing on
Biblical characters, specific books or scripture passages. These
adventures into God's word are intended to deepen our
understanding of how God speaks to us, and to encourage
continued spiritual growth. When? Six-week
sessions each fall and spring. Contact: Jack Cooper
Weekly Fellowship
Senior adults from Fifth Church and broader community gather weekly for games, crafts,
refreshments. You can bring a bag lunch and stay for the entire
time, or just drop in for a while. When? Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the middle fellowship hall at church. Contact:
