Knitters for Kids!
The Guideposts Knit for Kids ministry wants you
to know how much they appreciate "your dedication and
hard work: Knit for Kids has reached a milestone of
500,000 sweaters, which means that your collective
gifts of love continue to reach hundreds of children
every day." For that they are deeply grateful.
If you are a knitter and would like to
contribute to this worthy cause, there are instruction
sheets in Dede Cooper's church mail box. If you would
like to know more about this ministry, consult their
website:
www.knitforkids.org.
Meal Ministry
The Women's Ministry Meal Team would love to offer
support by providing a meal. If you know of someone
who could use a meal, or someone that you would like
to take a meal to, or if you could use a meal yourself
(I realize it isn't always easy to ask for help, but
we've all needed help at one time or another and it's
ok to ask for it), please call Betsy Broene, Pat
Haines or the church office. We really want to
encourage each other.
Job Jar
If you or someone you know has a specific need, odd
jobs, spring clean up, or anything else you need
assistance with there is a small group of people at
Fifth who would love to help. Please call Ryan
Tjepkema or the church office with any requests.
